Regions Bank is the target of another class action lawsuit claiming that Regions required borrowers (who hold a residential mortgage, home equity loan or line of credit) to maintain a certain level of insurance coverage to protect its interest in the property. Regions would obtain insurance coverage for the property for loan holders who were not able to show evidence of acceptable coverage or if their policy was delinquent.
