Access My Claim
- To report a claim the user will need an Access policy number
- Reporting a claim will take less than 5 minutes to complete
- The user will also need to provide the accident time and date
Assurance Insurance customers are advised to report a claim ASAP as failure to promptly report a loss could jeopardize coverage. It is highly advised that in the event of an accident the customer also contact his/her local police department in order to obtain a police report (which may be helpful in the event of a disputed claim). It is impossible to say if the customers insurance cost will go up when filing a claim but Assurance will do everything in their power to keep insurance costs at Access equitable. Factors that will help decide if the customer is at fault in the accident include:
- Amount of damages paid
- State regulations
- Were alcohol or drugs involved
- Previous accident and violation (conviction) history
- Type of accident or violation
- Severity of accident or violation
Access My Claim Quick Notes
- Customers are allowed to take the damage auto to the body shop of their type
- Assurance may or may not pay for rental car fees
- All payments made using the Access My Claim system can be made via check, credit card, or Western Union and MoneyGram
- When making a payment via MoneyGram or Western Union the customer will need to provide their name and banking information
- In the event of an auto accident please be sure to secure the driver’s full name and insurance company
- Those who suspect insurance fraud should dial the Assurance fraud hotline ASAP at 866.747.6931, ext. 6859
