A class action lawsuit has been filed PTZ Insurance claiming they made robocalls which violated the TCPA.
PTZ Insurance denies any actions of wrongdoing but has agreed to fork over more than 5 million dollars to put this lawsuit in the past.

Who should file a claim?
Class members in the PTZ Insurance TCPA settlement class action lawsuit are defined as the following…
“Legal resident of the United States who received a phone call from PTZ that used a pre-recorded voice to play a Day 2 or Day 6 message between Oct. 16, 2013, and Nov. 30, 2016.”

- PTZ that used a pre-recorded voice to play a Day 2 or Day 6 message between Oct. 16, 2013, and Nov. 30, 2016
- 8/28/2019: claim form deadline
- 10/31/2019: fairness hearing
- 8/28/2019: Objection or Exclusion deadline
Please note class members do not need to attend the fairness hearing in order to receive the estimated 92 dollars payout.
If you do not object to the settlement you are bound to the final settlement amount.
A word about the settlement payment
Please note the amount each Class Member will receive depends on the number of claims filed. With a five percent claim rate, Class counsel estimates that payments may be around $92. With a claim rate of 10 percent, Class counsel estimates that payment may be around $46.
