Payments Life Benefits
- Allows a user to make a payment to Life Benefits online
- New users will have to enroll
- Returning users can simply sign in with their policy number
- Please note users do not have to create a profile with the Minnesota Life’s and Securian Life’s Online Payment System
- Insurance products are issued by affiliates of Securian Financial Group, Inc. and are Minnesota Life Insurance Company or Securian Life Insurance Company, a New York authorized insurer
The Payments Life Benefits system is easy to use and will not cost the user a dollar. The Payments Life Benefits enrollment process should take less than 5 minutes to complete and will ask some basic information about the users current premium bill and then asked them to verify their contact information. Those who want to save time and money (time is always equal to money in the business world) should sign up for automatic bill pay using the Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) service. The Payments Life Benefits EFT service will take automatically pay the users bill by taking money out of their checking account at a scheduled time every month. Payments made before 3 PM CT time will be applied the next business day while payments made after 3 PM while not be applied until the second business day.

- Business days are defined by the LifeBenefits Online Bill Payment System as Monday through Friday excluding federal holidays, assuming the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is open
- Those who sign up for the automatic payment service should do so the day after their payment has cleared
